Here is the scoop on alpaca poop...it's quite amazing, actually!

An interesting fact about alpacas is that they naturally "go" in communal dung piles vs random places all over the pasture. The alpaca diet, primarily composed of grasses, promotes an organic, low-odor, nutrient-rich fertilizer.  These small pellet droppings are perfect for gardens, lawns and crops.

Gardeners and farmers refer to this as "Black Gold" since they recognize it as a valuable natural resource and a gold mine in the world of organic farming.  Alpaca pooP (caca) is highly sought after due to its rich nutrient content especially Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium (NPK).  the high nutrient content in alpaca CACA enhances plant growth and improves soil conditions, making it a preferred choice for gardeners and farmers.

In addition to the key nutrients, alpaca POOP also contains micro-nutrients such as Calcium, Magnesium, and Copper, which are essential for plant growth.  Plus, it’s not overly potent, meaning it doesn’t burn plants like other types of manure. The cost savings from not needing to purchase additional soil amendments also adds to its worth. When you factor in the nutrient content, alpaca POOP is a powerhouse!

It is an excellent soil conditioner that can transform your garden into a blooming paradise.  Buy a bag today...trust me, your plants will thank you for it!

Step inside our unique ‘Paca Studio and discover the wonders of alpaca fleece and more.  With all of the fiber that our alpaca girls lovingly donated last Spring (and it’s a LOT…5-10 lbs. per adult alpaca!), there are many ways to use the “soft-as-cashmere”, hypo-allergenic fiber.

This dual purpose Studio will not only store the alpaca fiber products that are handmade here on the farm but also allow us to offer super fun crafting/teambuilding classes and be the focal point in our lower pasture where we will also hopefully host Yoga with Alpacas and ‘Paca Picnic early 2025.
